I've always been fascinated by the human back. There is something that makes it so fragile, but yet so strong. All I can say, I love the feeling of photographs showing this fragility, everyone in their own unique way.

I like the one with the creeping flower tattoo. The rest look like they need to have something to eat.

I find backbones that really stick out quite un-attractive. Always looks a bit malnourished to me!?!

I sooooo love to be different.... :D

I think the backbone/back is nice, whenever it's stronger built or not. but as I said to someone else, we're all built in our own certain way, neitherless sometimes we can't decide how our body will grow. You can be natural thin and still you can see the bones, but also stronger built and still see it...

yepp, wouldn't be fun if everyone would think the same! : >

I'm also in love with the spine... I did a photo shoot with two girls in a studio I borrowed... However I forgot about shutter sync speed, and I only got about a third of every picture. I'll just have to try again...
These are all amazing shots. Great collection.

.. part of the reason why I got my massage therapy license was an obsession with the human back. It sounds silly, but.. I can't keep my hands away from them. ^-^ It doesn't matter if it's on someone slender and frail, average, or.. *gasp* incredibly muscular. Watching the sinews roll under the skin during movement is just delicious.

Anyway.. getting carried away? ^-^ Lovely selection of photos, here.

[link] - I also like tattoos on backs. ;) .. I'm thinking of eventually designing more to spread out along my shoulders.
